Prof. Dr. Dietram Scheufele is now IMS2024's keynote speaker!

Prof. Dr. Dietram Scheufele, who works at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and has carried out internationally pioneering work in fields such as artificial intelligence, political communication, journalism, framing and science communication, has agreed to take part as a keynote speaker at IMS2024, which we will be organized by Akdeniz University Faculty of Communication between 29-31 May 2024.

As Akdeniz University Faculty of Communication, we are organizing the fifth International Media Studies Symposium, which we have been organizing traditionally since 2013. In this prestigious symposium, where we plan to host national and international researchers in a hybrid manner within the scope of the theme "The Future of Communication in the Age of Artificial Intelligence", Prof. Dr. Dietram Scheufele, a distinguished professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will be our guest as a keynote speaker. He will be delivering his groundbreaking speech entitled "A critical look at misinformation in the intersection of algorithms, artificial intelligence, and science communication" to our participants on May 29, 2024.
